This is probably a stupid question, but I'll post it anyway.
Do you say>
My hero is you
or
My hero are you
In spanish, we say "mi heroe eres tu" so I'd guess you do the same in English, but I swear I saw it written with "is" somewhere...

"My hero is you" is what we say. The verb always agrees with the part before "to be". It took me a while to get used to saying "mi héroe eres tú". That sounded really strange at first....

En vez de 'my hero is you', diría 'you are my hero', porque suena mejor.
