Let's take this phrase, for example:
- (Do) You know where (did) she go for vacation?
- You know where she go for vacation?
- You know where she went for vacation?

Yo no diría '(Do) You know where (did) she go for vacation'. En vez diría '...... where she went .....
Pero si solo digo 'Where did she go for her holidays', suena bien y suena mal si diría 'Where did she went ....... '
