De acuerdo, pero en la habla cotidiana mucha gente se come la 'd' y dice 'use to' que es difícil pronunciar la combinación 'td', pero si es correcto escribir 'used to'.

1. Grammar: Traditional Rules, Word Order, Agreement, and Case
§ 65. used to
We use the verb use in its past tense with an infinitive to indicate a past condition or habitual practice: We used to live in that house. Because the -d in used is not pronounced in these constructions, people sometimes mistakenly leave it out when writing. Thus it is incorrect to write We use to play tennis. When do occurs with this form of use in negative statements and in questions, the situation is reversed, and use to (not used to) is correct: You did not use to play on that team. Didn’t she use to work for your company? 1

I would add, though, not to get bogged down too much in the 'correct' rules - listen to how people use it, albeit perhaps 'incorrectly', in everyday use. Often, using the 'correct' form when all around you use the 'wrong' one, can sound a bit pompous and judgemental!

Gracias Graeme
No quiero sonar pompous pero tampoco quiero aprender las cosas mal. Me gusta saber que es lo gramaticalmente correcto y despues aprender como lo dice la gente. Mi cerebro necesita seguir reglas de gramatica para aprender y si una no funciona mi cabeza es un caos!! jajaja

Lo correcto es:
I used to... Did I use to...
En el momento de hablar, no se escucha mucho la diferencia. (De hecho, yo la noto para nada.) Sin embargo, "Did I used to" está mal gramaticalmente y es mejor evitarlo.
