Can you tell me how does Jermy Irons sound to you?
To me, he sounds more british than the americans but less british than John, for example hehe, so I get the feeling that after living and working for so much time in the US, he had some sort of americanized british accent, is that so?

Aquí está (abajo) una entrevista con Jeremy Irons. Diría sin ninguna duda que el habla con acento muy inglés (sin rastro de acento norteamericano) en una manera más pija que yo por ejemplo. Tal acento decimos 'de clase alta'. Yo hablo, más o menos con acento inglés (obviamente) pero sin acento cerrrado regional, pero es obvia que venga del norte de inglaterra por la manera en que digo palabras como 'grass' y bath. Escuché la entrevista y su acento es definitivamente inglés. Pero no conozcó los sutilezas de los acentos britanicos como John.
Tenemos suerte que hay gente de ambos paises en este foro! Si hay gente de africa del aur y de australia, estaremos más confundidos.

This is very interesting, I'm going to read the interview later. But the surprising thing is, I do not have problems understanding Jeremy Irons when he speaks, and, he does not sound like... lets say, Brad Pitt, for example, I do detect some kind of accent in his voice, that's why I thought he might have a mixture of accents.
My grandparents, they speak with spaniard accent to me, but their relatives in Spain say they have argentine accent. So they are probably in the middle...
