I came across this sentence today
Many a thing you know you'd like to tell her
And I was wondering how (and when) do you use this expression. I would just have said "Many things" in this context. But since it's part of a song, maybe it's a problem about syncing the lyrics with the music....

Sí, hubiera dicho 'many things'. 'Many a thing' suena más lleno de lirismo.
