For those who don´t know Ingrid Betancourt, she was a presidential candidate in Colombia, that was kidnapped by the guerrilla 7 years ago and lived as a hostage since then. Today, through a magnificent operation of the colombian military, she, and other 14 hostages among which there were 3 or 4 american contractors, they were freed.
She spent 7 years living in the forest as a prisoner, her father died short after she was kidnapped because he couldn´t resist the pain and sorrow.
Today, when she was talking to the media, she said many things, but the one that called my attention was " I hope no one of this guerrilla soldiers die when they find out about this mistake (the mistake they made that helped the military get Betancourt and the others) and I hope no one of them dies in any military action"
And the question to debate is..... how can you put diplomacy in practice in such moment of your life?
In her place, I would want to see each and any of those bastards tortured to death for what they did to me, to my family, and I would be proud to say that out loud. I´d try to hunt them down, if not personally, with all the logistics I can provide about their organization.
What do you think?

Creo que sí y creo que significa "I hope to have".

Espero poder Espero tener Espero salir Espero volver
etc..
