This is a hard one, because even I don't know how to explain what I feel about it.
There's a song that goes " How could I face the faceless days if I should lose you know"
And I was wondering what's the difference between "if I should lose you" and "If I lost you"
Sometimes, when I listen to the song, for a very short moment, very faintly I can feel some sort of "less probability" with "should lose" than with the other one, but then, I think of "if I lost you" and I lose that train of thought, it's really hard.
Any thoughts on this?

mmmmm, me cuesta mucho pensar en una respuesta. Realmente no creo que haya una diferencia en sentido entre los dos, pero creo que 'should' suena más romántico y quizás por eso hayan usado esa forma.

well that makes sense.... it does sound more romantic saying "should lose" than the tragical "if I lost you". Thanks a lot!
